Busy, hacked, and back!

Busy, hacked, and back!

Hello lovely Bloomers!  We're in such good spirits this week!  It's been a hard couple of months, but lots of good has come out of it all!  I wanted to put together a quick post to explain what we've been up to and where we've been

Firstly I wanted to say thank you to those who reached out to us wondering where we were, after our social media accounts went incredibly quiet.  We had both our Facebook and Instagram accounts hacked 8+ weeks ago and it's taken an awful lot of juggling to get Facebook reinstated.  Unfortunately the hackers completely deleted our Instagram account and we are looking at the possibility that it will be impossible to reinstate.  It's been rather stressful as most businesses rely in part on social media platforms to grow, communiate with customers and reach out to the wider world.  The powers that run these platforms have been impossible to contact, and have offered zero help which only added to the frustration.  But!  At least we got one account back.  Glass half full, rather than half empty!

We've also been incredibly quiet on the newsletter front.  Our team has been totally up against it delivering two new exciting bespoke projects for one of our favourite charity clients the RSPB.  Watch this space, the launch will take place in June and we'll be sure to promote the new range on their behalf.  It's simply gorgeous!

And alongside a busy project for the RSPB, our portfolio of hotel clients has also continued to expand and keep us on our toes.  We've been putting together some gorgeous bespoke branded packaging for Hotel Meudon over near Mawnan Smith and taking on two new clients - the Old Quay House in Fowey and the Rosevine near Portscatho.  Plus we've been working up custom branded bottles of our award winning Sleep Mist for Tom Kerridges Hand & Flowers over in Marlow.  It's been go, go, go!

Busy projects combined with the usual staff absences that continue to be caused by Covid, plus a lot of difficult anniversaries to work through (a year since my Mum passed away, her birthday and mothers day all within 4 weeks of eachother) have meant that it's been a time for reflection and turning inwards for a little quietude at times too.  But the blossom is now pushing through and we are on a roll again.  I'm so looking forward to the rest of the Spring, the warm Summer days and the burgeoning year ahead.  I hope the feeling of positivity radiates out from this post to you all, wishing it for everyone else too.

Much love Marie xx
