What is Patchouli?

Patchouli essential oil is steam distilled from the aromatic leaves of Pogostemon cablin, a tropical plant belonging to the mint family and native to Southeast Asia.

Although Patchouli became synonymous with the free-spirited movement of the 1960s, its use stretches back hundreds of years.
