What is Evening Primrose Oil?
Evening primrose is a plant native to North and South America that also grows throughout Europe and parts of Asia. It has yellow flowers that open at sunset and close during the day.
The oil from evening primrose seeds is concentrated in essential fatty acids, specifically Linoleic Acid (60-85%) and Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) (7-12%), which help strengthen the skin's barrier and soothe inflammation.
